If I were to have a bucket list, one of the items on that list would be to attend a major European music festival. On Sunday I cleared a major hurdle in checking that one off of the list. I secured my ticket to the 2013 edition of the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.
Tickets went on sale on Sunday, October 7 at 3am CDT. I stayed up to try to hit the website as soon as the clock struck 3. After an hour and twenty minutes of madly refreshing the page and dialing the international orders phone line with no success, I finally got through on the website and put down my £50 deposit. Twenty minutes later, one hour and forty minutes after tickets went on sale, Glastonbury 2013 had sold out in record time.
So come June 2013 I will be making my way across the Atlantic to the United Kingdom to attend one of the premier festivals in the world and I couldn't be more excited. Obviously there will be more updates to come as the trip approaches.
